Create objects for reuse
As a master owner, you create objects for which no variants are to be created when creating the model variants. This applies to organizational elements and application systems. For example, this can be a role or a customer relationship management system that only exists once in the company.
Prerequisite
You have Read + Write + Delete access privileges for the respective database groups.
To create new objects for which no variants are to be created, you can create them directly in the appropriate exclusion group.
If you have existing objects for which no variants are to be created, move them to the exclusion group.
Saving objects in the exclusion groups means that no variants are created for these objects when you create model variants. They are only inserted as occurrence copies.
Also, objects stored in exclusion groups can be reused as occurrences when models are edited by the master owner or variant owners.
