Manage ARIS Method
Configuration administrators can ensure that only defined method items are available for users.
By default, a tenant uses the items defined in ARIS Method. If you have the Admin role and Configuration administration function privilege you can customize the set of objects, symbols, attributes, models, and connections so that these sets are available in all databases of a tenant. Therefore, you must assign the method extensions, such as attribute types, to other items like model types, and allow them to be used in filters. You can restore ARIS Method to the default version any time.
You can modify method items indicated as:
Unchanged original (Default)
Modified item that was based on an original (Derived)
Item that was changed by an authorized user (Customized)
Item that was added to the default ARIS Method (User-defined)
You cannot modify items of the Default (not configurable) type.
