Export
You can export model graphics, DMN diagrams, BPMN diagrams, and database content.
You can export a model or a model item as a graphic and use it in other programs.
Open the relevant model.
To export a model, open the model and ensure that no model item is selected.
To export a model item, open the model and select the relevant model item.
Activate the Model tab bar.
Click
Export graphic in the tab bar. The model graphic is created.Decide whether to open or save the graphic.
The graphic either opens in your graphics program or is available as a PNG file in your download area.
You can export a BPMN diagram. When exporting an Enterprise BPMN collaboration diagram or an Enterprise BPMN process diagram, an arisebpmn extension tag with the Enterprise BPMN specific information is added to the BPMN file.

Models and objects.
Select the group of the database containing the BPMN diagram. The group content is displayed.
In the row of the relevant BPMN diagram, click
More.Click
BPMN export. The BPMN 2.0 diagram is validated. If modeling errors occur, these are highlighted in the diagram and must be corrected. A tip for solving an error is displayed when you move the mouse pointer over the highlighting. You can open or save the BPMN file.Save the file at the required location.
You can use exported BPMN diagrams in other applications.
You can export a DMN decision requirements diagram.
Click
Models and objects.
Select the DMN decision requirements diagram.
Select
Export > DMN <DMN version> export. You can choose between DMN 1.1, DMN 1.2, and DMN 1.3.
The export operation starts and saves the file to your hard disk under Downloads.
If errors or warnings have occurred during the export, they are displayed in the DMN export dialog.
You can export a DMN decision table as a graphic.
Open the relevant DMN decision table.
Select
Graphic export.
The export operation starts and saves the graphic file to your hard disk under Downloads.
You can export models in XML format to import them into other ARIS databases. XML files exported from ARIS are encrypted.
Prerequisite
You have the function privilege Database export/import on database level.
You have the ARIS Admin - Enterprise public cloud license privilege.

Select a group or database content you want to export.
Select
Export > Export XML file.Specify the relevant settings and click Apply.
By default, the database content is exported as a zipped file and saved in the Downloads folder on your local hard disk. The XML export dialog displays the log messages of the export.
You can export ArchiMate® models for use in another system.
Click

Models and objects.
Navigate to the database and the group where the models you want to export are located.
Select one or more models of the ArchiMate® model (3.x) model type or a model type derived from it.
Click
Export > Export ArchiMate file.Specify the languages in which you want to export the model by enabling the corresponding checkboxes.
Specify how to export assigned models and connections.
Specify which ArchiMate® version is the target of the export.
Specify if you want to export the group hierarchy of models and objects as ArchiMate organizations.
Click Apply to start the export. When the export is finished, the ArchiMate export status dialog opens. If model items could not be exported, the dialog lists these model items.
