Import common files

You can import one or more common files simultaneously.

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.

  2. Click Evaluations and select Common files.

  3. Click Import Import and select one or more files. Use Ctrl+click to select multiple files.

  4. If a file already exists, click Overwrite.

The files are imported.

If you selected common files, you can do the following:

Duplicate standard scripts and files to prevent your changes from being lost. During a system update, all standard scripts and files are automatically overwritten to provide you with the newest features.

  1. Select the file.

  2. Click Duplicate Duplicate.

The file has been duplicated. The file is listed as Copy of the duplicated file.

You can modify the duplicated file. The duplicated file will not be overwritten during an ARIS update.

You can delete files that you no longer require. If you export the files or the scripts first, you can make them available again at any time.

  1. Select the files and click Delete Delete.

  2. Click Delete to confirm.

The files are no longer available on the tenant.

You can export one or more common files simultaneously.

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.

  2. Click Evaluations and select Common files.

  3. Select one or more files and click Export Export.

The files are exported to your Downloads folder.

You can unlock files that currently cannot be edited because you have the file open in Administration client at the same time.

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.

  2. Click Evaluations Evaluations and select Common files..

  3. Select the file and click Locked items # Unlock.

The file is no longer locked and you can edit the file.
