Assign dashboard edit privileges
You can manage the edit privileges of dashboards in the dashboard editor. You can assign specific edit privileges to individual users or user groups. If you assign permissions to a user group, the permissions are automatically assigned to all members of the user group.
For new users and user groups of a dashboard, you can automatically assign view permissions to all associated assets of the dashboard, such as data feeds. It is not required to assign the permissions to each asset manually. A user requires the view permission for all associated assets to display the corresponding source data in the data feed. If view permissions are not assigned to all associated assets, a corresponding option to assign the missing view permissions is additionally displayed in the dialog.
If you create a new dashboard, you must save the dashboard before you can assign Edit privileges.
Click Settings > Privileges. The Dashboard privileges panel opens. The panel lists all users or groups with assigned Edit privileges.
Click Add users/groups. The corresponding panel opens.
Click the users or groups in the panel. The selected users or groups are added to the Dashboard privileges panel.
