Add a dashboard to the Overview sheet

You can add a dashboard to the Overview sheet of an item, such as the process item.

Prerequisite

  • You have created your own modification set.

  • You have the Admin role and the Configuration administration privilege.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.

  2. Click User interface. All available configuration and modification sets are displayed.

  3. Click the relevant modification set.

  4. Click Fact sheets on the Define modification set page. All items available for fact sheets are displayed.

  5. If you use the content type configuration, add each item that you have added to the content type set to the item list.

  6. Move the mouse pointer over the item you want to change the overview page for, for example, process.

  7. Click Edit Edit. The Edit fact sheet page opens. All subordinate sheets are listed.

  8. Move the mouse pointer to the Overview sheet and click Edit Edit.

  9. Click + Add.

  10. Click Dashboard in the list and select the position for the dashboard on the page using drag and drop. Use the handle to change the size of a tile by dragging it with the mouse to the required size. A place holder indicates the position of the dashboard on the Overview sheet. The Edit dashboard panel opens.

  11. In the Edit dashboard panel, you can select the dashboard and set the layout of the dashboard to display.

    1. Click + Add dashboard, select a dashboard on the Select dashboard panel, and click Done. The selected dashboard is displayed on the Edit dashboard panel. To edit or delete the selected dashboard, move the mouse pointer over the dashboard name and click Edit Edit or Delete Delete.

    2. You can enter an optional title and specify the language of the title.

    3. You can display a drop shadow and borders for the dashboard by enabling the corresponding options.

    4. Enable the Adjust height option and specify the minimum and maximum height of the dashboard.

      When this option is enabled, the height of the tile will be adjusted to fit the tile content. 'Minimum height' defines the lower limit for decreasing the height while 'Maximum height' defines the upper limit for increasing the height.

      Please note that the changes are not visible while you are using the edit mode.

  12. Click Save to save your changes.

You added a dashboard to the Overview fact sheet.

To change your customization, select the dashboard and click Edit selection Edit selection.

To remove the dashboard from the Overview sheet, select the dashboard and click Delete Delete tile.

Note that you must enable the modification set to make the customized Overview fact sheet available for the ARIS users.

You can view and use the selected dashboard on the Overview sheet of the relevant item.
