'Published content' search
Depending on the search you are using, you can define here which content types are to be included in the search and the order of the filter criteria for the advanced search in the Published content.
Prerequisite
You have the Admin role and the Configuration Administration privilege.
You have created a set of content types.
You can activate search content types for 'Published content' search.
Open content types page.
Click the content type set for which you want to configure the 'Published content' search.
Click 'Published content' search.
Select the content types you want to activate for the 'Published content' search.
Click
Activate.
You have activated search items for 'Published content' search.
You can activate properties of a content type for the search in Published content.
Open content types page.
Click the content type set for which you want to configure the 'Published content' search for.
Click 'Published content' search.
Select the content types for which you want to activate or deactivate properties and click
Activate properties or click an individual content type. You can only activate or deactivate properties for active content types. The dialog opens.Activate the properties that are to be taken into account in the 'Published content' search.
You have activated properties of a content type for the search in Published content.
You can show content type details.
Open content types page.
Click the content type set for which you want to configure the 'Published content' search.
Click 'Published content' search.
Select the content type of which you want to show the details.
Click
Show details. The dialog opens.
You have showed the object content types details.
You can rank content types for the search in Published content.
Open content types page.
Click the content type set for which you want to configure the 'Published content' search.
Click 'Published content' search.
Select the content type you want to rank.
Click Rank and select the ranking. There are the values high, standard and low. You can rank a maximum of five content types to high or low.
You have ranked the content type for the search in Published content.
You can synchronize the configured search content types for Published content.
Open content types page.
Activate the content type set for which you want to synchronize the 'Published content' search.
Click the content type set for which you want to synchronize the 'Published content' search.
Click 'Published content' search.
Click Synchronize with Published content.
You have started the synchronization with Published content. This can take some time.
